You may fund your SMART account with the following options:

Funding can be made easy with the excess funds in your Phillip trading account(s).

Step 1: Log in to Poems 2.0

Step 2: Select ‘Acct Mgmt’

Step 3: Select ‘Stocks’

Step 4: Select ‘Online Forms’

Step 5: State amount to be withdrawn

Step 6: Select ‘To transfer into account…’

Step 7: Click ‘Submit’

You can fund your account online using your internet banking.

Step 2: Choose ‘Pay Bills’

Step 3: Choose ‘Phillip Securities’ as the payee

Step 4: Key in your 7-digits ‘Application Reference Number’ in Bill Reference (e.g. “PSP-1234567” enter as “1234567”)

When your account has been set up and funded, the SMART investment managers will proceed to deploy your funds into a diversified portfolio of securities across geographical regions, countries and industry sectors according to your risk profile.

Yes, the initial minimum investment in SMART is SGD 5000.

Yes, you can. You can add to your investment any time and with any amount of your choice via Phillip Trading Account, internet banking, SRS account, cheque or telegraphic transfer.  Simply quote your SMART account number as a reference during the transfer. Please refer to “How do I fund my SMART account” for funding instructions.

No, you do not need to. Our system will be able to pick up the funds and invest accordingly.

Yes. The initial minimum investment amount is SGD 5,000. Thereafter, the minimum monthly investment amount is SGD 1,000.

You can fund your SMART Portfolio via RSP by setting up a standing instruction to make monthly investments through your internet banking.

Step 1: Login to your internet banking portal

Step 2: Choose ‘Pay Bills’

Step 3: Choose ‘Phillip Securities’ as the payee

Step 4: Key in your 7-digit SMART account number in Bill Reference (e.g. “0123456”)

No.  You’ll be able to see the deposited amount in your portfolio via wm.phillip.com.sg when the transfer has been processed.
