How do I fund my SMART Portfolio account?

You may fund your SMART Portfolio account with the following options:

PayNow is available to customers of the following nine participating banks: UOB, Bank of China, Citibank, DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, ICBC, Maybank, OCBC and Standard Chartered Bank.

Scan the QR code to make payment in 3 easy steps (mobile users may wish to take a screenshot of the QR code and import it later)

1. Log in to your banking/payment app with your username and PIN
2. Scan/Import the QR code or manually key in the Company UEN to start your transaction

Enter your 7-digit SMART Portfolio account number e.g. 1234567 under “Reference Number”. 

Your funds will be reflected in your SMART Portfolio account the next business day.

Funding can be made easy with the excess funds in your Phillip trading account(s).

Step 1: Log in to Poems 2.0

Step 2: Select ‘Acct Mgmt’

Step 3: Select ‘Stocks’

Step 4: Select ‘Online Forms’

Step 5: State amount to be withdrawn

Step 6: Select ‘To transfer into account…’

Step 7: Click ‘Submit’

You can fund your account online using Internet Bill Payment in your internet banking.

Step 1: Select Your Bank

Step 2: Choose ‘Pay Bills’

Step 3: Choose ‘Phillip Securities’ as the payee

Step 4: Key in your 7-digits SMART account number in Bill Reference (e.g. enter as “1234567”)

Step 1: Print the Transaction Form HERE (e-signature not accepted)

Step 2: Complete details in the sections marked in the red boxes

Step 3: Email a clear photo or scanned copy of the Transaction Form to talktophillip@phillip.com.sg 

Your funds will be deducted from your SRS account and reflected in your SMART Portfolio account after 1 week.

Please make cheque payable to “Phillip Securities Pte Ltd”. Indicate the 7-digits SMART account number (e.g. “1234567”) at the back of the cheque.

Steps for Fund Transfer from DBS Bank Multi-Currency Account (Non-SGD):

  1. Login to DBS Digibank App
  2. Select Pay & Transfer
  3. Add a Local Recipient
  4. Under Transfer to, please select Bank Account and proceed to key in Recipient name, bank and bank account number
  5. Select Next to proceed to add Payee

After adding Phillip Securities Pte Ltd Multi-Currency Account Details under Pay and Transfer

  1. Select ‘Pay & Transfer’
  1. App will display Phillip Securities Pte Ltd Multi-Currency Account details like this:
  1. Select the debiting account as the client’s Multi Currency Account and the currency he wants to transfer.
    Scroll down all the way to select USD (if this is the currency that you wish to transfer) – further below Thai Baht. The selection will show SGD by default due to DBS User Interface
  1. After selecting USD from client’s Multi Currency Bank Account
    Input amount to be transferred and ensure “USD” is selected at both transferor and transferee.
  2. Input 7-digit PHILLIP Account number under Reference number.
  3. Proceed to click “Next” and complete the transfer
